# Making LibreOffice Look Like Microsoft Office

While the LibreOffice apps function very similarly to their Microsoft Office companions, their options are laid out differently and may be more confusing to navigate. This guide shows how to make the LibreOffice apps look more similar to Microsoft Office.

1. Open LibreOffice Writer.
2. At the top left of the window, click "View", then click "User Interface...".\

3. A new, smaller window will open. Click the checkbox next to "Tabbed", then click "Apply to All" at the bottom.\
   ![](/files/SSp1XCYrHLoTDkndVmyP)

This will apply the new style to all of the LibreOffice apps!
